If you would like to import your significant trade history from platforms like Paxful, LocalBitcoins, LocalCryptos, (or any other established P2P platform), you can have that reputation added to your LocalCoinSwap account and displayed on your profile once verified. This ensures that reputable traders do not have to build their reputation from scratch when moving or expanding to LocalCoinSwap. a - Add the code "LCS-" followed by your A Smart Bank username to your LocalBitcoins/Paxful and/or other P2P platform profiles. For example, if your A Smart Bank username is Jack112 you would add the code: "LCS-Jack112" to your profile bio/introduction section. If the platform doesn't have an option for this, add the same text to the terms on one of your trade offers, or when using LocalBitcoins you can set your A Smart Bank profile URL as your homepage link which will also be sufficient to prove ownership of the account you are trying to import. b- Raise a support ticket and provide your public profile or trade links URLs where the unique code has been placed from any/all platforms from which you want to import your reputation. c- A Smart Bank staff will verify the code on each profile and add the trade history to your account. Having this process completed usually takes just a few hours to be processed. You are free to remove the code once verified and your trade import is completed successfully. If you have trouble performing the above process, simply reach out to support by raising a ticket and the support team will be able to guide you through completing the process.

How to Deposit Cryptocurrency into your A Smart Bank Wallets Create an account if you haven't already, it's a simple process that only takes a few seconds. Get started by heading over to the registration page to get registered, if you already have an account just ensure you are logged in before proceeding. Head over to your portfolio, here you'll find the list of supported cryptocurrencies. You can access your portfolio by selecting "wallet" from the navigation menu when logged into your account. When viewing the portfolio page you can select the "Send & Receive" tab to navigate straight to your Bitcoin wallet or select a cryptocurrency from the list to be taken directly to that wallet in your account. Once you are on the page of the specific wallet you want to use, it's just a matter of copying your deposit address, you can copy this manually or just press the "copy" button to copy the address to your clipboard. After you have your deposit address you can send cryptocurrency to that address, just ensure you are only sending the correct type (including network) of cryptocurrency as not all cryptocurrencies are cross compatible in that way. Phishing Warning: A Smart Bank will never send you deposit addresses or request funds via email! If you are receiving an email with a deposit address, or requesting payments in any way that will be a phishing email and should be ignored.
Thanks to the non-custodial wallets that A Smart Bank provides, users can always access the funds in these wallets, even if the platform was to go offline for any reason. Additionally, it is impossible for A Smart Bank platform and staff to ever access, seize, or lose any funds in these addresses. In order to do access your crypto externally, you will need to have first backed up the private keys to your various crypto wallets, or the seed phrase for your account. This seed phrase is used to generate all your individual wallet private keys. So you can access BTC, ETH, BNB, CELO, ERC20 tokens, BEP20 tokens, DOT, and KSM all through this one seed. Please note that with only your BTC private key, you will not be able to access your other crypto wallets externally as you can only generate a private key from a seed, and not vice-versa. Hence exporting your seed (or ALL your individual private keys) is very important! How to backup your seed phrase 1. Login to your A Smart Bank account and navigate to "Settings" > "Security" 2. Click "Export Mnemonic" and then "Show Mnemonic" 3. Note down this phrase somewhere carefully and in the correct order.

While the regular margin pricing allows traders to set simple margins above or below the coinmarket cap price, some traders are looking to use price data from specific exchanges, or more complex equations to price their trade advertisements. This is where advanced pricing is useful. You can access various prices from the following exchanges: Bitfinex Kraken Bitstamp Binance Bittrex Coinbase Polinex HitBTC CEXio Coinone More may be added soon. To fetch prices from these exchanges you will need to use the following syntax Market.exchange.pair.type market. = This is typed to signify that you want to fetch an exchange price exchange. = The specific cryptocurrency exchange you are fetching from pair. = the pairing that you want to use (i.e. btcusd). type. = The type of price you want to fetch from this pairing on this exchange. (i.e. last, high, low , bid, ask, etc.) An example of a valid formula is market.binance.btcusdt.last Once you start typing the syntax out, a dropdown will appear with helpful suggestions to minimize the amount of typing needed. You can also access fiat exchange rates. This is done using the following syntax: fiat_in_fiat where the fiat is the 3 letter ticker for that fiat currency. For example, if you would like to use the Euro/USD rate, this can be done by using eur_in_usd Many exchanges don’t have prices outside USD, USDT, or EUR so using the fiat exchange rates is the perfect way to price in your local currency. All fiat exchange rate data is taken from openexchangerates.org You can also access coinmarketcap.com prices for the cryptocurrencies listed on the platform using the following syntax: crypto_in_fiat where crypto is the 3 or 4 letter ticker from coinmarketcap.com. For example, if you want to select the LCS/USD rate, you would type lcs_in_usd, and if you wanted the DASH/USD rate you would type dash_in_usd. If you want to easily translate coinmarketcap prices into currencies outside of those supported by coinmarketcap, you can do this by simply selecting alternative fiat currencies to USD like above. For example, typing eth_in_nzd will provide a cross price of ETH/USD from coimmarketcap multiplied by USD/NZD from openexchangerates.org providing you with the Ethereum price in New Zealand Dollars. You can also use any (or a combination) of the following mathematical operators: Multiplication * Addition + Subtraction - Division / Minimum min (x,y,....,z) Maximum max (x,y,....,z) Brackets ( ) Using the above operators it is simple to create a huge variety of pricing methods to suit your needs. It is important to note that regardless of the exchange data or operators you use, your trade will always be priced in the fiat currency that you have created the trade in. For example, say BTC is 8000 USD and you are creating a trade in euro. Using only the syntax btc_in_usd will price your trade at 8000 Euro. So ensure to always convert into the fiat currency that you are trading with.
If you have forgotten your account password, there is no way for us to help recover it. This is due to the way that your account is secured with client-side encryption. These are the same technical properties that prevent us from accessing the funds in any of your non-custodial wallets. It is important to keep your password safe and to never share it with anyone else. If someone gains access to your account, any crypto transferred to your A Smart Bank wallets could be stolen in the future, even if you change your password as your private keys may have been exported. Keep trying to remember your latest account password and ensure you do not have caps lock on. If you still can't remember, you might be better off creating a new account and starting fresh.

When trading USDT (TRC20), sellers are typically required to go through a two-step process: 1. Approval 2. Escrow The approval transaction consumes approximately 21 TRX, while the escrow transaction consumes around 34 TRX. To save on fees associated with the approval transaction, here's a useful trick: you can approve a larger amount once and then use it for multiple smaller trades until the cumulative sum of all trades is less than the approved amount. If you require a higher limit, you can simply increase it again.
Escrow in the context of peer-to-peer trading on A Smart Bank refers to a process where cryptocurrency is secured on a blockchain (either utilizing an escrow smart contract or bitcoin scripts) while a trade is being completed. So how does this work in a practical sense? It is relatively simple: 1- Two users agree to trade with each other. One user is buying cryptocurrency (crypto) from a seller. 2- The seller “funds escrow” (locks their crypto into escrow). Please note it's essential to wait until the escrow transaction is fully confirmed before proceeding further as unconfirmed transactions may never complete. 3- The seller provides the payment details, and the buyer pays the seller directly. This may be through a variety of payment methods including bank transfer, cash deposit, Western Union, and more. 4- Once the seller receives the local currency, they release the crypto from escrow to the buyer. This process provides a secure way for users to buy and sell with a significantly reduced risk of fraud or scams, provided the escrow is utilized as intended. Once the seller funds escrow and the transaction is confirmed, they cannot withdraw their crypto. This assures the buyer that they will receive the crypto as long as they make the correct payment. In case of any issues, such as the buyer failing to make the correct payment or the seller not releasing the crypto after receiving payment, either trader can "raise a dispute." A Smart Bank staff member will then investigate the matter and release the crypto to the appropriate trader after reviewing the situation. WARNING: It is crucial to ensure that escrow is funded before making any payment. If the escrow is funded, it will always be clearly visible on your side of the trade. Be cautious of any claims made by the other trader, such as "it's funded on my side" or "it will be funded instantly after payment," as these are common scam tactics. In such cases, do not send payment and report the suspicious trader immediately. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you are unsure or have doubts, do not hesitate to contact support. Our team is always ready and happy to assist you.
The percentage value on offers (xx.xx% above/below market) shows the difference away from the CoinmarketCap.com (CMC) rate. If you set your offers using any other market (i.e. Binance), this figure will constantly change as all markets are independent and fluctuate in comparison to each. It is important for all margins shown to other users to be in relation to a single rate so they can accurately compare different offers. Also, as some markets have consistently higher or lower prices than others, showing the margin in comparison to that specific market (vs CMC) would allow users to deflate their margin percentage artificially.
